We discussed how many networking events are pressure-filled or just opportunities to pass around business cards, not truly building relationships - they are very transactional. Plus, so many are at bars, involve drinking, or happen after hours, which doesn't work for a large segment of people. We specifically talked about the South Shore Women's Business Network and how they're set up to create an engine for relationship building.
