This is exactly what you want, AND it’s fun! 👉 Here’s the how: 🎵 Pick your favorite tunes: My playlist is what I listen to on the treadmill, and it’s always upbeat, and covers a range of music - on purpose. 💃🕺 Decide when to use it- ideally I play it 15 minutes in advance, and I like it LOUD. Here’s the results: ✅ One of my favorite clients said she couldn’t ratchet up the volume because she was in an office setting, so she played it for herself in advance. 🦁 What did she choose? Reflecting on Today's BBC Radio Panel: Elvis Evolution & The Ethical Dimensions of Music Technology Participated in a BBC Radio panel today discussing 'Elvis Evolution' and its impact on the future of live music. Some key takeaways: Abbatars and Elvis Evolution: We delved into how these projects are pushing the boundaries of live music experiences. Live Music's Unchanging Core: Despite tech advancements, the essence of live music, the audience's experience, remains constant. Employment Shift in Music: The industry's evolution is leading to diverse job roles, from musicians to tech experts. A caller's question particularly struck me: the moral implications of reanimating artists as holograms. Far from an IP rights issue, the caller questioned the ethical aspect of interfering with an artist's afterlife. This brought a fresh perspective to the technology debate, highlighting an aspect often overlooked in our rush towards transhumanism and longevity – how to respect the sacred and elemental. "Silent Discussion" lesson: What do protest songs tell us about the criticisms being made of US conduct of the Vietnam War? Students rotated silently through different sheets of lyrics jotting down questions, answering previous ones and making comments before answering the key question using the songs as source material (after we've taken a bit of time guessing the musical genre of each, voting on our favourites and then listening to an extract from each).
