Good morning LinkedIn - quickly announcing that I am swapping sides! After more than a decade of fun, sweat and tears as an operator I am very excited to have turned to the investor side of things joining Earlybird Venture Capital. I simply enjoy all things around investing so much - be it sparring with founders, recognizing truly new and relevant ideas that will shape our future prior to becoming a trend as well as challenging those visions to the core. And I might have received the one or other feedback that this is just so very much the right job for me :) I’ll continue to dedicate my time and love to the FinTech world and - surprise, no surprise - get in the weeds of all things Consumer. Since my very first professional endeavor L'Oréal to my more recent adventure Trade Republic, B2C business models and the very relevant game of Marketing in this space are my passion and expertise and I am thrilled to build this angle out for Earlybird. I am excited to join Earlybird because of a unique mix of legacy being almost 30 years in the market and a constant hunger to stay at the forefront of innovation. I love this entrepreneurial energy and everything that is to come.
