I don't know if you've heard, but Dr. Thomas J. Nasca is stepping down from his role as CEO of ACGME, effective January 1, 2025. Now, I usually mind my business on such matters, but given the importance of the future of academic medicine, I'm stating publicly that I hope the next president of ACGME is the best anesthesiologist in the country, William McDade, M.D., Ph.D. I'm going to leave this right here. #GME #academicmedicine #medicaleducation
