👁 Shared mission: Aligned with the company or finding my own path? In today's work world, many employees are looking for more than just a paycheck. They want to work for a company whose values and mission they share with theirs. But is it always possible to find a perfect alignment between company mission and personal motivation? My experience: In my case, I can say with complete certainty that I feel lucky to work for a company whose mission inspires and motivates me deeply. This company promotes the consumption of natural infusions in a way that encourages and commits me to adopt a healthy lifestyle, which in turn translates into a continuous improvement in my quality of life over time. How is this alignment reflected in my daily work? Every day, I am motivated to do my best knowing that my work contributes to a larger goal. I feel part of something bigger than myself, and this gives me great satisfaction. However, I am aware that not everyone is as lucky. It's not always easy to find a company whose mission perfectly aligns with yours. In some cases, there may be some dissonance between personal values and those of the company. What to do in these cases? If you find yourself in this situation, here are some thoughts: Evaluate the importance of alignment to you. To what extent is it important for you to work for a company whose mission you share 100%? Analyze the possibilities of change. Could you talk to your boss or HR to explore ways to better align your work with the company's mission? Consider your own professional development. Could you acquire new skills or knowledge that would allow you to find a job more aligned with your values? Don't be afraid to explore new opportunities. If you feel that you cannot reconcile your values with those of your current company, do not be afraid to look for new opportunities in companies that share your vision more. Remember that the most important thing is that you feel fulfilled and motivated in your work. If your company's mission inspires you, great! If not, don't be discouraged.
