Navigating change can be exhausting and it can sometimes feel like there is so much out of our control. 💫 I sometimes catch myself spending hours ‘trying’ to plan, prepare and perfect for every future eventuality. I search for solutions (often ones that I cannot control) and I put unrealistically high expectations on myself to have all of the answers. 🤦♀️ I know this is my mind’s tendency to keep me safe and away from danger; yet I feel the effects of how frustrating, exhausting and energy draining it becomes. While when I look at what is within my power, I find myself coming back to gratitude, to acceptance and to compassion. I start to feel lighter, more energised and more purposeful. ✨ This can come from finding the joy in the simplest of things like watching the sunrise on the early commute, to the smile from the coffee shop lady or taking a lunchtime walk and listening to the birds. 💕 So even if it’s one small thing, during the challenging times, I come back to the fact that I can choose how I respond. I can find the joy and I can choose to feel powerful 🙌 What is bringing you joy this week? #energy #change #gratitude #power #wellbeing
