These are spot on recommendations for those who are in career transition. It's time to stop paying lip service to those in between roles and do something for them. If I have worked with you in the past, I would love a recommendation. #opentowork #talentmarketing #recruitmentmarketing #talentacquisition #globalmarketing #employerbrand

Some things you can do for co-workers (past and present) who have been impacted by layoffs: ✍ Write them a well-thought-out recommendation on LinkedIn that would speak to a recruiter or hiring manager. Be specific about their skillset and the impact they made. Soft skills matter here, too! 🗣 Do a dedicated LinkedIn post about them, especially if you worked with them directly and can speak to their experience. Go ahead and slap that recommendation into a post, tag them for exposure and voila ✨️ 👀 TRULY keep an eye out. While there are layoffs happening everywhere, there is also hiring everywhere! And with the current job market those roles can and do get snatched up quick. 🤝 Is there anyone in your network that you can connect them with? Job alerts can help, but never as much as a personal connection. Your impacted friends are tired. The job market is tough. Sparing a few minutes of your time could change someone's life ❤️
