"Is hiring an Architect worth it?" I don't know if I have been able to convey my perspective about hiring Architects so far but bear with me with this point! I believe that you will agree with me on this 🌟 👉🏻 INVALUABLE EXPERTISE 👈🏻 ◾ We as Architects bring invaluable expertise to the table, with years of education and experience in the construction industry. ◾ We can navigate the complex and ever-changing building codes and regulations, ensuring that your project is up to code and secure necessary approvals. ◾ Architects also act as project managers, coordinating with other professionals such as structural engineers and building surveyors, saving clients valuable time and energy. Most importantly, we help clients achieve their goals and create a home that is not only beautiful and functional, but also reflects their unique lifestyle and needs. We work with clients to create a personalized design that maximizes space, natural light, and energy efficiency, resulting in a comfortable and efficient living space. I would love to know the perspective of everyone in my network including Architects. Am I missing any point here? 🔥 #adroitcollaboratives #solvingchallenges #exploringarchitecture #architecture #interiordesign #architizer #archdaily #architect #interiordesigner #renovationproject

Saying NO is the biggest YES for architects. I have always been a passionate architect, saying yes to every opportunity that came my way. (I am a giver by nature). But we givers also have a problem: we tend to give too much. We empty our energy reserves. We try to please everyone. Architects give too much: • Too much of our time. • Free designs and consultations. • We lower our fees to accept work. And most of the time, no one thanks them. But I've learned (remembered) a hard truth. The truth is that not everyone is your friend and/or client. Not everyone deserves our attention. Last year I chose to 𝘀𝗮𝘆 𝗡𝗢 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀 on projects aligned with my vision. I realized the value of being exclusive with my time. So I'm going back to basics, and investing my time and energy in architects who really need it. The result? I started working with architects who appreciated my time. Saying no is not closing doors; it's opening yourself up to the right opportunities. Don’t waste your time on customers that do not value your time and value. Not everyone deserves to be your customer. *** 🐇 If you want to discover the rest of the story, follow the link in the first comment 👇 PD: Do you know what your Ideal Customer is? And what does he/she need? I mean, in case you're still wasting your time on people you shouldn't be.

To me, architecture is human centric, it revolves entirely around people. People are THE SINGLE MOST important consideration to me in my work. Ensuring everyone feels included, valued, and respected is paramount to me throughout every phase of the project. From the team and general contractor to vendors, clients, and even down to the foreman and mason, fostering a sense of belonging and mutual respect is fundamental. Creating a happy project experience for all stakeholders is non-negotiable. I feel supported by my team, clients and contractors in turn and it motivates me to be an even better human being and a deeply sensitised architect. It feels good to be good :) I am architect Shashi and I talk about the human aspect of architecture #architecture

This here is in my top 2 of advise I've seen on finding a job as an architecture student/graduate.
The title Architect is not reserved for the building industry. However, too many people still search for "Architect" in their job search.
