Saudi Arabia is making strides to enhance road safety and reduce fatalities from road traffic accidents — though there's still a long road ahead. With a surge in #construction activity Kingdom-wide, to achieve 2030 goals, there's a notable increase in vehicles on underdeveloped roads, in remote project areas (can you see the challenge here?). Organizations have a pivotal role to play. It's their responsibility to ensure drivers are properly trained, vehicles are being maintained, and (arguably) most importantly driving behaviors being closely monitored. 🚨 Addressing Seating Issues in Airline Departure Control Systems (DCS) 🚨 I’ve noticed continuous seating issues in #airline’s #departurecontrolsystem, for example - #Amadeus #DCS. Despite clear #SOPs and #safety regulations that only healthy and young individuals should be seated in #emergency exit rows, counter staff are mistakenly assigning these seats to families and #children. Even though the system shows notifications about who is eligible for these seats, overrides are being made, compromising #safety protocols. My #suggestion: The DCS should be updated to ensure that if a passenger is a child, the system automatically prevents any overrides, accepting only adult passengers for emergency exit seats. This small change could significantly enhance safety and compliance.
