Unconventional Ventures (UV), a Nordic-based VC fund, is nearing its €30 million fund target to invest in impact tech companies with diverse founding teams. 💼 The fund is addressing the lack of diversity in the tech startup and VC landscape, particularly in the Nordics, where all-men founding teams historically received a significant portion of VC funding. UV's portfolio includes companies in healthtech, femtech, sustainable fashion, foodtech, and fintech. LPs supporting UV's fund include Atomico, EIFO, Investinor, and Chr. Augustinus Fabrikker, among others. UV's investments so far include Climate X (UK), Ocean Oasis (Norway), SciFree AB (Sweden), and Meela Health (Sweden). The fund focuses on startups combating climate change and addressing female health-related challenges, with a majority founded by all-female teams.
