$AI is the industry where it happens. Yesterday was one of those days. Two big pieces of news came out: 1. Three artificial intelligence companies that operate on blockchain have agreed to merge their crypto tokens, a move aimed at helping them develop a decentralized #AI platform. SingularityNET, Fetch.ai and Ocean Protocol will merge their tokens into a single token known as ASI that would have a fully diluted value of about $7.6 billion, they said in a statement Wednesday, confirming an earlier report by Bloomberg News. The deal hinges on approval from the members of each community. Source: Bloomberg 2. "Stability #AI will work with the Render Network to create a dataset for 3D asset training. Leveraging the multi-actor composition of the Render Network, nodes, users, and community members will be able to participate in the creation (and benefits) of this dataset. To train models using this dataset, Buyers will need to license the dataset with $RENDER tokens." It also includes plans for staking on $RENDER. This followed news that OTOY, Stability #AI, Endeavor, and the Render Network announced a partnership between the industry leaders in open source generative #AI models, media and entertainment, and #GPU computing to develop and standardize IP rights, production workflows, and infrastructure around emerging #AI technologies. This news just came out when OTOY CEO and Co-founder spoke at NVIDIA GTC24 Source: @Rendernetwork More and more companies are interested in leveraging this form of technology, but the current state of #IT may be hindering this possibility. Without a proper #IT operating model to securely and effectively integrate with this technology, companies not only fail to extract maximum value but also expose themselves to #compliance #risks. In addition, commercial technology companies might want to embed these technologies in their #GTM offerings but lack the storyline to showcase which actual value this brings for their customers. So, in Q1 2023, the entire PE-funded growth-tech market reacted to the call "pivot to AI!" But will this new source of hot air being pumped into the sales of tech start ups be enough to help them escape the irresistable pull of the gravitational vortex? For most companies it won't.
