Studies have shown that timber frame projects can be cheaper AND faster than masonry alternatives. Qualities such as being watertight faster, and the use of offsite construction mean timber frame buildings are often completed faster than masonry construction. This can contribute to reduced prelims and quicker return on capital employed.
