In a game decided by the finest margins, "The Preparation Water bottle" was spotted by cameras. ⚽ Was the bottle accurate? But were the preparation tips on Pickford's water bottle correct? 🧤 England keeper Pickford listed the preferred penalty approach of the Swiss players on his water bottle. He has done this in a few tournaments, and more often than not the prep pays off for him. Penalty 1: “AKANJI: DIVE LEFT,” the bottle read, Pickford dived to his left to save the Swiss captain’s kick. Penalty 2: “SCHAR: FAKE RIGHT – DIVE LEFT,” the bottle read for Fabian Schar. That is where the ball went. Penalty 3: “SHAQIRI: DIVE LEFT,” was the instruction. Again Shaqiri shot left. Penalty 4: “AMDOUNI: HOLD – DIVE LEFT – GO! (LOW),” it read for Zeki Amdouni. This penalty went straight - the water bottle got one wrong!!! The preparation on Pickfords waterbottle was accurate for 3 of the 4 penalties. He saved one. That was enough to win the game and secure a semi-final. 🤝 What preparation can you bring to your sales meetings today? What comes up again and again? What are the common objections you can prepare for? What are the questions you get asked again and again? Have you got a qualification or discovery call today? What can you find out about your client in-advance? What strategic questions will you ask? If you follow MEDDIC, then preparing questions is better that leaving it to chance that your conversation covers what you need. The difference between winning deals and not is often small margins.
