Ten days ago, I graduated Cum Laude from Claremont McKenna College, with a B.A. in Media Studies and a minor in Data Science. 🎓 I’m forever grateful for the community with whom I had the privilege of learning, creating, and growing at CMC. Thank you to my family, my friends, and faculty/staff for their support and encouragement throughout a special college experience! I’m excited to travel ✈️ to the Philippines this summer to visit family, and then make the move to San Francisco 🌁 to return to Plaid as a New Business Associate this fall. I’m thrilled to see and work with you soon, Plaid team!

Plat's a plap on my plinternship at Plaid—sorry, let me translate that… That’s a wrap on my internship at Plaid, where we put “pl” in front of everything!  I’m so grateful to have spent the summer at Plaid, working alongside talented coworkers and fellow interns and diving into the #fintech space. On the New Business team, I helped drive the pipeline for Plaid’s sales team, creating strategic outreach campaigns for new deal opportunities, honing my consultative client call skills, and supporting cross-functional initiatives for the company. I learned about Plaid’s central role in empowering the fintech ecosystem and what it means to work for a highly mission-driven company full of ambitious and supportive individuals.  Huge thank you to Matthew, Emerald, Stefan, Oliver, Katie, and Riley for helping me grow throughout the summer! Thank you, as well, to Victoria and Madeleine for creating an awesome intern program, and to many more Plaids for what was an incredible summer full of learning and fun!  P.S. I'm super excited to share the launch of Zoom's Up Partner Program, for which I had the honor of creating a program overview guide as my internship project last summer! I’m thrilled and honored to share that I’ll be joining Plaid, Inc. as a New Business Intern this summer in NYC! I’m excited to explore the FinTech space and help develop new client verticals and use cases for Plaid. I went Zoomin’ for the summer! After two and a half semesters of Zoom school and countless family Zoom calls, I am incredibly grateful for the ten weeks I spent this summer on the other side of the Zoom screen, joining Zoom’s first-ever class of #interns. As Zoom’s Global Partner Programs Intern, I joined a team of passionate #Zoomies focused on Channel Sales growth, Partner Programs development, and enhanced Partner and Customer Happiness. Over the summer, I produced an overarching marketing asset tying together each of Zoom’s programs that empowers partners to grow their businesses by selling, integrating with, or delivering services around Zoom’s UCaaS (Unified Communications as a Service) platform. Conducting over 40 internal interviews to incorporate team members' insights, perspectives, and needs into this guide, I learned about how exciting, complex, and meaningful this company, this industry, and this work truly is. Thank you to Jenny Teeters (MBA), Diane Pefferle, Gilbert Vendryes, Veens Calamba Bagabaldo, and Kari Shafer for your vision, guidance, and support throughout this entire experience :) Thank you to the Global Emerging Talent Team (Nicole (Freitas) Perzigian, Alison U., Daishawn S., & Lejorne Leys) for your incredible work empowering Zoom’s interns!  It has been an honor to deliver happiness alongside all of you this summer, and I am eager to continue following Zoom’s future.
