Last week, I wrapped up my remote summer internship with LaborX, “The LinkedIn for the Linked Out”. LaborX’s goal is to improve equitable hiring, and I am grateful and proud to have supported their efforts to reshape America’s workforce as our economy recovers from COVID-19 and as more companies make efforts to prioritize DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion). I would like to thank LaborX CEO Yscaira J. for her guidance and mentorship. With Yscaira and the LaborX Team, I helped increase LaborX’s online presence and engagement with its three target audiences (jobseekers, employers, and training programs). LaborX continues to roll out important initiatives, and I hope you will join me in keeping your eye out for LaborX’s next endeavor. Thank you to The Kravis Lab for Social Impact at Claremont McKenna College for sponsoring my internship this summer. With this support, I was able to get involved with companies like LaborX that are working on innovative ways to improve the community around them.
