You said you want to achieve your dreams? What are you prepared to do? If someone works for 4 hours, can we work for 6 hours? Can we? Work harder, smarter, planning the hours we have, enjoying our days in the company of the greatest friends focused on one goal? What are we prepared to do? What a great inspiration. And what a great place to be. Seeing our Lions tirelessly work to achieve their dreams. Lions. What are we prepared to do? Let us do it and rock the placement season. This is just the start. The Heroes are going to come on now and rock the stage. What are we prepared to do?

What a fantastic first weekend of the Six Nations! Being Welsh, I couldn't be prouder of our second-half performance. After the retirement of legends like Alun Wyn Jones and the early departure of talents such as Louis Rees-Zammit, Wales faced a significant challenge. We were a team of fresh faces, including Wales's youngest ever captain. The first half was tough. Entering the dressing rooms 27 points down, I'll be honest, I had doubts. Especially against a Scotland team that's among the best I've seen in my lifetime. But the second half was a different story. It gave me goosebumps and had me shouting at the TV, just like my grandad used to do. Despite losing by just one point, the young Welsh squad's performance was memorable. Their grit, determination, and discipline were incredible. As I'm stepping into the world of business ownership and reflecting on my years as a self-employed financial planner, this game reminded me of a crucial life lesson. Life can be tough, but success is always within reach. Rocky Balboa eloquently captured this sentiment, "It's a very mean and nasty place and I don't care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't about how hard you hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward." Taking cue from Rocky's powerful message, and Wales's performance, I extend a heartfelt shout-out to anyone grappling with adversity: I've walked in those shoes. The road of resilience might be paved with setbacks, but remember, it's never about the falls we take; it's about our persistence to rise, time and again, that truly shapes our journey. As we embark on this week, let's arm ourselves with unwavering determination. No matter the challenges ahead, remember we are built to withstand, to overcome, and to thrive. As a father, I’m amazed at the life lessons I learn from observing my kids. This week I was able to take my 5-year-old, Piper, to her tumbling class. Here were a few of my observations: • During warm-ups she consistently stayed in front of the class, dialed in and treating everything as a “race”. • When learning a new technique, she was ALWAYS the first to raise her hand volunteering to try. What makes this even more inspiring to me, is this was only her 3rd week in the class since being moved up from a lower level. Not only was she leading, but among peers older and more experienced than she is. What did I learned watching my daughter Piper? 1 - You lead by example. Regardless of current title, tenure, or experience, leadership is reflective of actions. 2 - Be courageous and don’t let fears of failure or less experience prevent you from “raising your hand”. 3 - Life is about progression over perfection, and the only way you progress is by allowing yourself to experience the uncomfortable amidst imperfection. #SalesExcellence #CreateGrowth
