While leverage targets for 2024 (2.5 - 3.0x) were maintained, an element of doubt has creeped in. #streaming Direct To Consumer (DTC) profitability was a bright spot after the combined #hbomax and #discoveryplus launch under the MAX brand in the U.S. with international launch coming in 2024. Subscriber growth should resume then for DTC (96 M subs v >230 M at #netflix and >160 M at #disney ) Among #media names, #warnerbrosdiscovery continues to look attractive at ~5x EV/EBITDA vs. ~ 7x average for peers.
