Some think it’s okay to not phone loved ones; they think texting’s enough - even on birthdays?! Neither get my vote! What does? Encores, real voices & U-Turn votes will resound heartily for America's 248th. Let's keep her show running! Sans silence. No final-curtains. And yes, even changing parties! The hassle of voting - saaay whaaat? - our last vote?! Toto: "Nothin' Doin' Oz; AMERICAN votes are NOT on the chopping block! On the table? Wisdom, gravitas, clarity & decisive-action. Nothing less is allowed as circus-music-blares in our click & run culture. Listen-up ya'll; 3 reminders: 1)true-information 2)good-judgement-calls & 3)FREEDOMS. Ponder the "adult-in-the-room" decisiveness President Biden just demonstrated passing-the-torch. He knew the stakes - What to keep - What to cut-away. Do you know? In my Relentless Resilience programs I tell people, there’s a time to cut-away what no longer serves/what harms - when facing unthinkable challenges. Resiliency is tied-to decisiveness. The word decision comes from the root-word incisor; in medieval Latin: the cutter. I cringe when folks say we’ve weathered calamitous events before. True, we have. Then I say: THIS is different. Many don't see a potential calamitous event unlike any we’ve ever known; how millions would fall past-the-point of recoverable balance. Times like these require penetrating unforeseen darknesses EARLY with indefatigable humanitarianism. I know a lot about such fights for dignity/value/well-being & freedom. It began in utero for mom & me. Heads-up! I hope you have adult-in-the-room AHAS at your mirror. And make U-Turns so nasty power-games land on cutting-room floors. And remember just how lucky you are to be an American. I know a lot about America's safety nets. Good-people & helping-organizations, hordes-of-them, never once let me fall through untold dangerous cracks. I salute many generous folks and institutions. If your inner-GPS is warning of "unidentified roads ahead", saying “Make a-U-Turn”, regarding, errrrr, your political-habits-perhaps? Pay attention!
