This text is the new oath recited by members of the American Climate Corps, a new federal initiative mobilizing 9,000 young people to drive the energy transition and promote environmental justice. These young climate champions are dedicated to protecting the planet and fostering a sustainable future. The text of this oath was written by Barbara Kingsolver, acclaimed author known for her deep environmental and social justice themes.
