This is a little demo (proof of concept) of the power of AI in a game, and a peek behind the curtain with what we are developing within our new game "Would I Lie?!" Aside from background music, this entire audio was created using our new trivia gaming platform, which builds a voice script and creates realistic voices layered on top of our musical score. The goal here is to make an online game that sounds like a live game show. We are pretty close. In this sample, we asked it to interview our potential new game show hosts. Which voice did you like better?

As voice actors we always talk about our booths and show them off very proudly. 🥹 And rightly so since that is where the magic happens (and how much we spend on them 😅) But, we also always complain about PC noise and how we have to put it in another room. I saw this awesome video on LTT recently… my mind was blown. Why do we have booths to isolate ourselves and our equipment from external noise, but no mini booth to isolate our biggest most necessary noise maker? Creating a sound isolated space for your PC to live in is such a simple but effective idea and one I will definitely be testing out soon. If the principles and materials used to make professional booths was applied to this could you imagine the possibility. No more would we have to trail cables from one side of the house to another. No longer would we have to drill holes in our walls and doors to pass these cables through. I’m not saying the pc could be in your booth, but atleast it could be in the same room and not cause as much noise pollution. Sorry, for those of you who have a whole room as your studio you might still have to banish it. But the more isolation the merrier. I’m definitely going to be trying this… as soon as I can get my hubby to help with the DIY. Did you already do this? Does it help your noise? Sending MIDI instructions to my musical keyboard to control some functions, and testing by playing music from the screen on the real keyboard. Nextion Screen, Nucleo 64 with F411, SparkFun MIDI shield, MIDI cable, and my Korg Keyboard. MIDI uses UART communications with predefined Hex messages.
