Celebrate your wins, even the small ones. When you give yourself a pat on the back now and then and take a moment to soak it all in, you become much more motivated to take on that next challenge. When you face a challenge head-on and win, don’t be afraid to let others know. Just be sure to let them know in a humble way. Did you make it to the top of the mountain? Don’t just brag about standing at the top. Instead, tell the story of how you got there, the challenges you faced, and the things you did to overcome them. Let down your guard and show a little humility. It’s okay if people can see your scars. They’ll relate to you on a deeper level, and they’ll build trust with you when you explain how you found a solution and made it work. Celebrate those small wins. Shout about those big wins. You deserve it, and others benefit from hearing your story.

The hardest win to celebrate is one that goes from a 75% probability, to 90%, to 95%, to 98%, to 99%... Here are 3 things I've seen work to keep these wins from landing with a vibes thud: 1) Draw a line in the sand and make it clear that THIS is when we celebrate 2) Provide something to look forward to and to mark the occasion when it happens (a great meal together, a day off, a bonus, etc.) 3) Pull up to 100k feet and repeatedly communicate the progress over the course of the engagement, "look how far we've come in the past two quarters" What have you seen work well?

Have you celebrated yourself today? Or you feel there's no reason to, when you're yet to achieve your desired result for a task you've set to achieve over a long period of time yet no result? Celebrate yourself for the ones you've been able to achieve. Celebrate yourself for the milestone(s) you're currently in. Celebrate yourself for the ones to come, that's how not to keep yourself under unnecessary pressure you've directly or indirectly set for yourself. Having to live life is a big deal and having to achieve certain milestones is another. Keep clapping for yourself until you see the desired result. Rome wasn't built in a day. Moral Lesson: Celebrate every win. Nothing good comes easy. Until I come your way again next time, bye. Whitworth Cordelia, the CSR!

What small wins have you experienced since the beginning of the New Year? How do you celebrate them? Some of my favorites: 15 minutes outside to breathe fresh air; ordering or making a special coffee; or a piece of chocolate. Share your favorite ways to celebrate small wins below!
Celebrate small wins! Such an important key to unlocking potential and moving forward, but something many of us are NOT good at. It is something we need to cultivate because it is NOT natural - both as individuals and in teams! We are 3 weeks into January. What are some of the "small wins" you have seen since the beginning of 2024? Look for them and say them out loud, or share them with somebody. And find a small way to celebrate them! Your workgroup will thank you for it. By naming and celebrating the small wins together, you'll build momentum to overcome some of the obstacles you're facing!
