People.: Growth, development, talent imports/exports, and everyone embracing change and innovation. 🔹 Brand Positioning: From “Anybank USA” to proudly banking being a “Fifth Third Better.” 🔹 Project to Product Management: Shifting from “launch and leave” to “launch and love,” focusing on the jobs-to-be-done. 🔹 Digital & ATM Channel Improvements: Empowering customers with self-service options and supporting them through our Jeanie assistant. 🔹 Digital-First Products: Zelle, streamlined account opening, software-as-a-service models, Momentum banking, and more. 🔹 Agile Transformation: Transitioning from waterfall to agile, embracing lean principles, and operating as “One Bank.” 🔹 Purpose-Built Spaces: Enabling collaboration and interaction zones for employees and clients. 🔹 Me: Growing - recognizing that we’re better together, focused on activating our superpowers and inspiring others. Turns out that I've ticked over the 8yr mark at Lloyds Banking Group (an anniversary I almost aimed NOT to hit). As LinkedIn generally echoes the doubts I had about joining a 'big company', here's 3 reasons why it's worked for me 👇 1. Progression and evolving skillsets 🌱: I joined LBG as a digital marketer, and now work in technology change and operations. I've had the opportunity to move through roles, secondments and projects, training and iterating my skills to identify what I love and am good at - without huge upheaval and risky leaps of faith. 2. Intrapreneurship 🎰: I've found it possible to scratch that entrepreneurial itch within a big co; building something from insight and see it through success or failure. All with the added luxury of partnering with some of the most interesting companies and consultancies in the world. 3. Work and life 👨👩👦👦: Most importantly, by a distance, is how I've been supported to parent equally and be heavily involved in my kids lives (I now know this isn't something all Dad's get to experience). It's a non-negotiable I now expect going forward. All this time (relatively) later, I can honestly say that on a daily basis I still feel challenged and motivated, amongst a team of people I genuinely love working with. Wouldn't have bet on that 8yrs ago!

Meet Santiago Henao, our product consultant!  Santiago joined FISPAN in August and has been an integral part of our Service Operations team. As a product consultant, Santiago provides product demonstrations to our partnered banks and their clients. Santiago graduated with a degree in Economics from the University of British Columbia earlier this year. While he initially planned to work for a bank, Santiago found himself entering his career in FinTech. At FISPAN, Santiago finds a workplace where his voice matters, saying, "What I appreciate most about working here is that it feels like I truly have a voice. So if I spot an issue or a more efficient way of going about our work processes, I can easily reach someone to discuss it immediately and take action on it right away, creating a safe space to collaborate and come up with innovative ideas." 🚀 Exciting News! Thrilled to announce the start of my transition to a Technical Leadership role from a Product Management position in Everyday Banking Individuals - Payments. 🌟 I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to take on this new challenge and expand my horizons within the dynamic world of technology. A huge shoutout and thanks to our new (perhaps not so new anymore!) IT SVP Agnes Cieslak-Kristensen, who has shown immense faith in me by taking a leap and believing in my potential for growth and evolution. Stepping into this new terrain comes with a blend of excitement for the challenges ahead and a touch of anxiety about the unknown. Moving from shaping product strategies back into navigating the intricacies of technical landscapes is both invigorating and daunting. There is a certain fear given that technology has changed so much in the last few years. Embracing this shift means acknowledging the uncertainties and facing the discomfort head on, knowing that growth resides just beyond the edge of our comfort zone. 😥 As I spent the last few weeks learning intensively about AI and Data analytics whilst refreshing knowledge on Cloud and all things related to s/w development and design using the bank's e-learning facilities. I find myself thinking how incredibly fortunate I am to be part of Danske Bank, a workplace that encourages and supports such career shifts, fostering an environment of continuous learning and growth. I am eager to bring my insights from product management to this new role, fostering innovation and driving impactful technological solutions that align with Danske's forward 28 strategy.
