The value of higher education is further enhanced when colleges and universities have highly interactive career centers to help counsel and advise students. Inside Higher Ed features a story today about "Students Sound Off on Career Centers." They note that "according to the newest Student Voice survey on life after college, about a third of students—even those graduating in 2024—haven’t interacted with their campus career center. There’s also a gap between the services students say career centers should offer and what services they’re actually seeking out." This is consistent with so much research my firm has conducted over the years with students and families.
