🧠 Here's a cool mental health startup linking clinicians to patients: Tava Health 🖥 AI is all the rage, but it's hard to imagine a world where AI replaces clinical care...and easier to imagine a world where AI supports clinical care 🎤 "We developed Tava with therapists at the center, recognizing that their needs are rarely prioritized. By equipping therapists with tools to make them more productive, they can increase time with patients providing mental health care that is so desperately needed," said Dallen Allred, CEO of Tava Health (credit PRNewswire) 🤓 Rather than just focus on an EMR - their approach is more "end to end" - clinicians, EMR, patient care 💰 And they seem to be executing on it - based on their fresh $20mn funding round! Congrats Tava Health! 🤝 Let's shape the future of healthcare together. 👩⚕️ Clinician interested in what a career in the future of healthcare could look like? International Sales & Marketing Leader| Ph. D Scholar at NDIM| Product Management| Marketing Strategy| Business Development| Go-to-market Strategy | Medical Technology
Medical Industry is not only about doctors and forensics. There is a lot more! The intersection of healthcare and technology (HealthTech) is booming with exciting careers. In today’s era, healthcare is not simply about medicines and doctors diagnosing diseases. Rather, there is a whole lot of technology involved in every step. From, doctor's consultation to disease diagnosis and treatment technology has become an integral part that requires the involvement of good engineers in action whose contribution would be nothing less than a doctor. 📍 My years of experience tell me about the following few ways in which the medical industry is innovating more: 1. Health Data analyst and Informatics Specialist: Think of yourself as someone good at analyzing different data. Using your tech prowess to organize and analyze a patient's data of medical history helps doctors make data-driven decisions and ultimately, improve patient care. You will also be able to unearth hidden patterns in patient data to optimize healthcare delivery. 2. Telemedicine Specialist: Telehealth is changing the game. As a Telemedicine Specialist, you'll use technology to connect with patients remotely, providing diagnoses, consultations, and even prescriptions – all virtually! 3. Healthcare App Developer: Innovate more healthcare apps. Craft user-friendly, secure healthcare apps that empower patients and streamline care delivery. 4. Medical Device Technologist: They develop, test, evaluate, and troubleshoot medical devices, ensuring they meet regulatory standards and function properly for patient care. They may also provide technical support to doctors and other healthcare providers. 5. Biomedical device engineering: They collaborate with doctors and scientists to understand medical needs, and then create innovative solutions like prosthetics, diagnostic tools, or imaging equipment. Their work ensures these devices are safe, effective, and user-friendly for both patients and medical professionals. 6. Hospital Management: Managing a hospital includes keeping a check on the flow of services, planning, coordination, and supervision of various aspects of healthcare facilities, including hospitals, clinics, and healthcare organizations. Healthtech is a lot more. The need is to bridge the gap of awareness. The shift is happening and I am happy to be a part of that shift. #pharmaceutical #pharmaindustry #healthcarecareers #healthcareinnovations #healthtechrevolution #mentorship

Passionate leader with decades of startup and enterprise IT experience. Bringing my love of problem solving and growing businesses to owners in need.
So I just realized that the 10 months in my last role was the only time in my career where I wasn't DIRECTLY working in the healthcare technology space. I did work with primarily biotech and life sciences in my last position, but it was different than all of my other experiences. Those clients were developing amazing, life-saving drugs combating some of the nastiest diseases and physical ailments on the planet. Prior to that, my customers included sole practitioners, group practices, ambulatory surgery centers and statewide healthcare organizations with clinics and hospitals. We had some cool technology 15 years ago. We interfaced with cool technology 15 years ago. After just a year of not having my finger directly on the pulse of healthcare technology, it's amazing to continue to read about the new, disruptive technologies out there as I research some of the companies I am interviewing with. There is such a focus on patient engagement, efficiency, telemedicine/virtual visits and interoperability. So many cool companies paving the way to the future of medicine. What is some of the coolest healthcare tech you've seen or experienced during your latest interactions with your healthcare providers? #Healthcare #HealthcareTech #DigitalHealth #HealthcareAI
