Take a moment to be thankful...If you can see, hear, walk and touch without the need for such amazing biotechnology, then you are very fortunate. We take these abilities for granted far too often. For those who need help hearing for the first time... Such devices and technology are life changing. What's even more amazing are the social workers who support kids such as Archer. Like learning to ski for the first time, it takes a lot of hard work, commitment and bravery for all parties... Finally, the parents, who are the foundation in determining the success of their childs development.

Will be a life changer for Archer. At 5 years old I was fitted with hearing aids. I can remember the noise a toilet made after flushing and birds singing for the first time. Sadly hearing aids are just that, aides. Unlike glasses that correct your vision to near normal, hearing aides can fall short from providing normal hearing. They have improved vastly in the almost 50 years that I have worn them.

This reminds me that we all want to hear someone else speak our name and tell us that we are loved.

Tears rolling down my cheecks.. To the engineers and doctors that gave back the gift of hearing to baby Archer you are simply amazing!!

In a chaotic World it's nice to slow down & watch a clip like this. Another great step forward for mankind.

My 4 years old daughter has bilateral hearing loss, she was first fitted with the hearing Aids, unfortunately it was not working for her, last year she received her first cochlear implant and I must say, it is a small yet amazing device.

Wonderful!! I have two deaf children with Cochlea Implant, it’s fantastic!!!
