A couple of weeks ago, I posted an article about what happens when we as fundraisers focus on the money and not the people. I’ve been noodling on this topic, and have landed on a simple, but powerful question: How well do you really know your donors? Investing significant time on the front end in the “getting to know you phase” of your work with your top donors and prospects will pay dividends in the long run.
