While I share the sentiment behind this post, I also feel it very offensive to mention, "We are not a third-world country." Maybe the author did not realize it, but the saying sounds discriminatory. Why are we still using those expressions in the 21st century? If discrimination is banned in America, we need to stop making those statements. Saying that we are not a third-world country is saying we are superior to them or the people of those countries. Remember that we have people from all over the world in America, and they are present at every level of society. Therefore, people from "third-world countries" are US investors, CEOs, managers, and workers. For many of us, they are our providers, bosses, and co-workers. So, why are we still thinking we are superior to them? And for what concerns the event itself, while it is regrettable, it is not a first in US history. Four US sitting presidents have been assassinated. And, if we dig deeper, we will find that "third-world countries" were created by "first-world countries." They are the ones who stole their diamond, gold, treasury, and human resources. But as the post implies, are people in "third-world countries" not barbarians? Are they not killers? Once again, we need to look back in history to realize that "first-world countries" have killed more people on this earth than any other group. Therefore, this version would be more human: "I don't care what side of politics you are on. This is unacceptable for any President or candidate to experience an assassination attempt. We, Americans, must stop doing this. Prayers for President Trump as he is a very lucky man..."

This is a sentiment I wish I entirely agreed with because I surmise Terri Botterbusch’s intentions are sincere, but as I reread this note I felt a need to address a few things: 1. I agree an assassination attempt on any candidate including that of a former U.S. President, President Trump in this case, is a heinous act and deserves the most severe penalty. I too was saddened by this moment in our history. 2. “Third World” country is an outdated and an inappropriate term that was never used simply in a attempt to accurately describe the economic development in poorer countries across the globe, but a political term (which quickly became a stereotype) used to categorize/group countries during the Cold War to understand their relationship relative to U.S. interests. Countries with a lower Human Development Index (ranking based on life expectancy, education, per capita income, etc) are considered, “Developing Nations” but the IMF is even phasing out these sort of terms because they perpetuate continued divisiveness, belittlement, and really are no longer relevant, if they ever really were. Point being, the U.S. is being considered a Developing Nation based on indicators of democracy inequality. Check out Kathleen Frydl out of Hopkins. 3. I grew up being read, Aesop’s Fables, and I’ve told several of those stories to my children by memory, especially when trying to impart wisdom when they’ve landed themselves in trouble or even to help them avoid trouble. They’ve served many as a great resource to remind and to guide us when at a junction in life, whether that’s in our youth or beyond. I came across an article by Tom Burke, a columnist out of Everett, Washington, (https://lnkd.in/g6p--SJK ) that accurately parallel’s these ancient fables to President Trump’s behavior and rhetoric which I’d suggest people review. My point here is that President Trump and much of the GOP have fanned the flames of hatred, racism, misogyny, bigotry, xenophobia, violence, etc because their insatiable greed demands that they sell their souls to simply put themselves in position to gain what they desire next. 4. According to Biblical scripture, 1) Proverbs 15:27 speaks about the result of greed…”Whoever is greedy for unjust gain troubles his own household,but he who hates bribes will live.” 2) The declaration Jesus makes is clear, you can keep your Earthly interests or you can save your soul(Matthew 16:24-26; John 14:6). Based on this knowledge, these people whom have encouraged,nurtured, emboldened rage culture will receive back what they’ve sown, which is much of what we are seeing and THAT is what I’m most saddened by because it doesn’t have to be this way. Civility in public discourse is something that we should all practice, as discussed in a fairly recent article, The Need for Civility in Public Discourse, by Georgetown Professor, Dr. Ella Washington, much more often and it’s something our leaders, especially should understand and demonstrate best.

Thee Constitution of the United States of America has several overarching goals of governance over the aforementioned country. They are as follows; the first is keeping power from the president, secondly the Constitution protects people from the government granting right to own weapons. The second ammendment stemmes from a police force reigning terror on the USA 🇺🇸 (state governments not just the federal government) The 3rd is to keep media free so we can monitor the government effectively. The former president (Donald Trump) who has in fact never won the popular vote, is a obvious threat to all three of these factors of the United States of America 🇺🇸 stay educated when you vote folks. You’re hyper-aware of every move, comment, and typo, often resulting in high blood pressure and a sudden urge to tweet. Denial vs. Obsession - CCS: "No way, Trump’s perfect!" - TDS: "No way, Trump’s terrible!" Blame Game vs. Blame Flame - CCS: "What about those emails?" - TDS: "What about that tax return?" Loyalty vs. Paranoia - CCS: "Trump could do no wrong." - TDS: "Trump can do no right." The Hilarious Hypocrisy: - CCS sufferers are like fans at a magic show, utterly convinced that the magician’s tricks are real, while TDS sufferers are the skeptics yelling, "I see the wires!" - CCS Remedy: "Come on, admitting you've been conned isn't that bad. Think of it like realizing the magician pulls rabbits out of hats, not thin air." - TDS Remedy: "Hey, take a breath. Sometimes it’s okay to let a tweet pass by without a full investigation. Not every blip is a bombshell." In the grand scheme of things, both CCS and TDS could use a little bit of perspective, a dash of humor, and a lot less stress. After all, life’s too short to be stuck in a syndrome, right? So, whether you’re staunchly defending or constantly critiquing, remember to laugh along the way. Because in the end, we’re all just trying to navigate this crazy world, one conundrum at a time.

As human I wonder how the fellow humans let this situation occur.. I am curious, how my fellow humans think in this world.. I think , that we all let this situation occurs based on fear .. fear of failing in our job, fear of not supporting our family, due losing out jobs … even today on government level .. a lie to keep your job is accepted.. even when the fellow humans feel hard pain .. Every cover- up starts with incorrect facts .. in fact misleading.. another aspect is in many structures of today, no one has a overview.. all see only a part of the situation … that aspect lead us to late discovery of mistake.. and attempts to repair only you piece of the situation… that is very dangerous, in a attempt to repair only a piece of the situation… you could bring harm to many fellow humans … recently, we notice all the perdition of a strong killer virus , was answer in good attentions with a vaccinatie… today we asked our selves , was it a wise decision to provide all humans this vaccin.. was safe in all circumstances, humans over the world expirience many situations.. in health, location , private situations… if we see in Europa, due to the regulations.. the complete fundament of Europa is damaged… what was the reason , act on act by people , who count not say .. I was wrong and restore the mistake..

The more I learn and read about how disastrous the resources are managed at the Department of Defense and its Armed Services branches, and how the present administration utilizes the law enforcement agencies to enforce and promote their political agendas persecuting the people who think different than the uniparty, how heroes are prosecuted for defending the innocent and criminals walk free, the more I question how much will the people take before they rise against an oppressive and authoritarian regime. There’s very little incentive for young men and women to serve the nation when their own government doesn’t honor the sacrifices of the men and women in uniform. Things need to change. America is unrecognizable.

One thing is clear from his testimony and speeches , Trump will go on a 4 year journey of vengeance against real and perceived enemies (people who disagree with him) if re-elected President.
