The 2nd BEV symposium at LUMS SDSB yesterday was an incredibly valuable opportunity as we explored the strides made in this space (34 manufacturing licences granted); development of an enabling environment (case studies from the developing economies of Asia and Latin America); and the complex challenges ahead (need for innovative financing solutions). It was inspiring to engage with industry leaders, innovators, financial experts, researchers, academia, technical specialists, government officials and policy advocates, all working towards accelerating sustainable mobility in Pakistan. The discussions truly enriched my understanding and fueled passion for driving positive change towards a sustainable energy transition. #EVAdoption #SustainableMobility
We are pleased to share the agenda for the third panel session of our upcoming discussion at the Battery Electric Vehicle Symposium in Pakistan on May 7th at LUMS from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. This session will delve into industry perspectives on demand, supply, and the financing of charging infrastructure. Our discussion will cover a range of crucial topics, from analysing local demand patterns to tackling supply chain complexities and examining innovative financing models for EV charging setups. This discussion promises to offer valuable insights for driving EV adoption forward. Stay tuned for more updates! #SDSBImpact
I'd be interested to learn about the innovative financing models discussed...was it about blended finance?
