RPT on Stock Exchanges in the International Financial Service Centre (IFSC) Well this RPT is not Related Party Transaction of Companies Act, it is Remote Trading Participants (RPT). Based on representations from market participants, requesting direct participation by foreign institutions on the Stock Exchanges. IFSC vide its circular dated April 3, 2024, decided to permit foreign entities, not having a physical presence in IFSC, to trade directly on the Stock Exchanges, on a proprietary basis, without a Broker-Dealer. Such an entity shall be referred to as a RTP. To onboard as RPT, an entity must satisfy certain conditions as specified in the circular enclosed for reference. #IFSC #trading #liquidity
