Celebrating Success in the Workplace How do we celebrate success, by increasing people engagement, sharing our knowledge, experience, and showing gratitude. Bringing insight to team members, by feeling valued, respected, connected and belonging, feeling comfortable to want to contribute, succeed, we are one team, one function, not a label, position, or superior authority. Let’s together find ways to express events to acknowledge everyone, appreciate all the daily achievements or milestones our teams adhere to week in week out to keep everything in function. Be the reason someone smiles today. Be the reason someone keeps going. Be the reason someone gets inspired. Be the reason someone feels good. Be the reason someone feels welcome, seen, heard, valued, loved, and supported. Be the reason someone believes in the goodness in people.

Senior Sales & Account Management Leader •Business-To-Business (B2B) Client Sales & Services Executive • Professional Services & Technology • Account Management • Customer Success • Seeking New Career Opportunities
Does it need to be national colleague appreciation day to celebrate one of your colleagues? The short answer is, no. Many businesses have an internal colleague recognition system in place to recognize outstanding work and I love this idea. At TriNet we have our Appreciation Hub, where these recognitions translate into monetary awards with the amount of recognition. I would love to give a shout out to my colleague, Stacey Bramer, who is working tirelessly to help our clients get their information over so that we can submit those details to our Pricing Team. This work needs to be meticulously done as the details can make a significant difference. For some reason, it's always tends to be a top-urgent-priority-rush. I encourage everyone who reads this to formally or informally express gratitude to those who are working with you to make your job easier and a better overall experience for the customer. Happy Friday! 😁

Today marks my 100th day at Jewson Partnership Solutions. It has been exciting so far, filled with warmth, support, and new opportunities. Here are a few highlights from this milestone: 🤝 Onboarding and Welcome: From day one, the open and supportive culture at Jewson Partnership Solutions, has helped me understand the business and made me feel like a valued part of the team. 🎨 Projects and Initiatives: Currently, I'm enjoying being involved in some new initiatives, such as the rebranding project of our sister business, George Boyd UK . Exciting times ahead as we shape the future of our brand! 🌐 Company Culture: What impresses me the most is the open and transparent communication within the wider STARK Building Materials UK. Frank discussions, peer support, and an inclusive environment, make every day a pleasure to be part of. 🤗 Colleague Support: A big shoutout to my colleagues for their unwavering support. From meeting invitations, to inclusive email conversations, and message groups, their effort is appreciated. 🔑 Observations: One key observation I'd like to share, is the importance of a simple but clear strategy that everyone owns. The energy and clarity it injects to company performance is transformative. Here's to the next 100 days!

I shared some thoughts on our intranet about a red plate we have at home. The lettering along its rim says it all: “You are special today.” It’s a little thing, but that red plate always makes a big difference in the mood at our table when it comes out. Recognition is a powerful thing. When we feel seen, supported or celebrated, we also feel a sense of belonging. That’s true in families and social groups, and it’s also true on the job. I love that my team is so good at recognition. It comes through in emails, in the applause that sometimes breaks out on our floor, in a traveling trophy one group uses and in hallway chats. Sometimes, it’s not about recognizing the achievement, but about recognizing the people and their lives in and out of the office. In a fast-paced, hard-working culture, recognition is especially important. A big win is sometimes a long time in the making – all the more reason to celebrate the small wins along the way. It’s also good to remember that while formal awards are nice, the informal recognition that comes from genuine caring makes a difference, too. A genuine note of thanks, a friendly smile and showing interest in someone else’s triumphs and challenges all tell people not only that their work matters, but that they matter, too. No red plate required. #celebratesuccess #kindnessmatters

Do you include Agency Associates and Resident Contractors when you have Company-sponsored events and meetings? Well, yes, yes we do, why would we not want to include them? I was surprised to hear from some other companies recently that they do not extend their events, recognition programs, meetings to their agency associates or even their resident contractors. This creates a divide whether one wants to recognize or admit to it. Treating associates differently causes mistrust and diminishes loyalty and value. At VF Outdoor, EVERY agency associate, EVERY Resident Contractor participates in all of our plant meetings, plant trainings, Birthday Recognition program, New Hire/ New Associate Announcements, productivity recognition, company-sponsored activities, projects and meal events. All associates also participate in all prize give-a-ways as well. VF is an INCLUSIVE company and our associates know if you come here to work for us, you ARE one of us. Our agency partners have always told us "we have a list of people waiting to come work for you". This is our WHY, this is our PURPOSE. I'm curious what your Company does, reach out via messenger or comment below.

How lovely to read this on my stream today!
I joined Select just over a decade ago, but today I want to take the time to celebrate a Specialist that completely changed my life. Karen took me in immediately and helped me navigate the ups and downs of recruitment, challenging me to be the best and driving me forward to the successes we now enjoy. Her attitude, desire to succeed and kindness display the best of recruitment and the values that Select embody. I’ll always have a bouquet of flowers and a coffee for you Karen, because I’ll always be grateful for what you did for me. 😘 If you want to see our values in practice, get in touch with me today

Team Appreciation: A time to celebrate your team as a whole! 🎉Celebrate their hustle, dedication, perseverance, and most of all celebrate their DIVERSITY! 🎊Two weeks ago we had Team Appreciation Week! 🥳 I asked the team if they wanted one theme or multi theme week. They chose Multi theme. 🦸🏽♀️Monday we Celebrated our Dynamic Team during Dynamic Duo Day! 🦸🏽♀️We dressed up in Dynamic teams and had some lunch together. 🥪 💎Tuesday we celebrated our Vineyard Place Treasures through treasure hunts. The team dressed as pirates and they completely treasure hunts by guessing what Team Member was being described in a worksheet made for them. I complied some team members favorite items and the team had to talk to each other to figure out who was being described. 🏴☠️ 🤝Wednesday we celebrated Unity through Diversity! 🌏 We wore clothing that represents our cultural backyards and shared some treats with each other. 🍰 👩🏽🎤 Thursday we celebrated our Rockstars! We dressed as Rockstars and ate some lunch! 👩🏽🎤 🏆 Friday we had our first ever MET GALA awards. Weeks prior team members voted on each other for select categories. Some categories were Best smile, Best signer, Motivator, etc. We handed out certificates and Awards. 🎫🎟️We also handed out Raffle tickets throughout the week for those who participated in the week's activities. Our families donated many prizes for our team which were given out during this time. Grand Prize was DISNEYLAND TICKETS! 🥳 Take a look at our video recap! *I Do Not Own the rights to this music* #employeeappreciation #teamappreciation #teamengagement #humanresources #peopleoperations #leadership #latinaleadership #anthemmemorycare

The Secret Weapon You're Ignoring: How Celebrating Wins Supercharges Your Team In our busy work lives, we're constantly chasing the next deadline or tackling the next challenge. It's easy to forget to stop and take a breath, let alone celebrate the wins we achieve along the way. But celebrating wins, big or small, is essential for our well-being and ignites a fire within our teams. Here’s why celebrating can be good for your team - Celebrating wins together reminds us that we're all on the same team, working towards a common goal. Appreciating each other's efforts creates a happier and more positive work environment for everyone. Celebrating successes shows that hard work pays off which inspires us to keep pushing ourselves. So just like team meetings, set aside some time to recognize everyone's efforts too. When we celebrate wins together, it's like a magic trick! It creates a positive and motivated team that works better together. Remember, celebrating is about showing your team you care about investing in their well-being. When we lift each other up, everyone wins!
