#Day3: Be the First One People Think Of 🌟 🚀 "It’s best to be the first one people remember." Today’s big idea is about making sure people think of you first. This is super important. 🌟What to Do: You want people to remember your brand. Like how some people call any soft drink a "Coke." Your Turn: How can you make your brand the first thing people think of in your area? 🌈 Being remembered is key. Aim to be the name everyone knows. #22ImmutableLawsofMarketing #Day3 #BeRemembered #SimpleWins

WE REMEMBER MOMENTS, NOT FLAVORS… Have you ever considered the influence that your product has on your consumers? From the choice of ingredients, flavor profiles, and presentation to the packaging and marketing, each element plays a crucial role in shaping the overall experience for consumers. Whether it’s a mood enhancement, refreshing hydration, social connection, cultural experience, or relaxation and stress relief, your product can go beyond just quenching thirst… It can uplift moods, create emotional connections, and enhance social occasions, making it a powerful tool for personal enjoyment and brand success. If you don’t make the most of this, you risk either becoming forgetful or negatively influencing these experiences, which will have a detrimental effect on your brand. What do you want your consumers to remember? #experiences #qualityproducts #itsthelittlethings

Helping Businesses To Develop Their Brand, Position Themselves Effectively Online + Offline + Attract The Right Customers.
There’s one brand that’s become almost synonymous with Christmas every year, and that’s Coca Cola. It’s during the festive season that the brand decides to “tell a story” and highlight more human narratives and values, rather than putting product front and centre. We can see this from their Christmas advert this year, which focuses on the notion of kindness rather than being product-centric. The ad, “The World Needs More Santas,” embraces the idea that through acts of kindness, anyone can embrace their inner Santa. Kindness is one of the brand’s core values, and so they felt this was a particularly relevant message during the holiday season. Coca-Cola has long been associated with Christmas and Santa Claus. The iconic ad ‘Wonderful Dream (Holidays are Coming)’, featuring Coca-Cola Christmas trucks and Santa himself, first aired in 1995. And almost three decades later, the ad still consistently performs well against more modern ads from other brands in testing. In fact, Coke’s push towards feelings of happiness and kindness creates strong enough feelings in consumers during the holiday season that they even feel differently about the flavour in controlled tests on the human brain against Pepsi's overall feeling and brand! The bottom line? Evoking the right feelings accelerates how consumers feel about your brand, and at no time is this as heightened as during the Christmas season! 🎄

Just walked past this image on the side of a truck. Is this still the most iconic image in alcohol today? Powerful #brand stories often aren’t literal. They convey an essence. This image has all the undertones - ruggedness, masculinity, sophistication, sex-appeal, and even provenance and craft (as they ride through the highlands of Jalisco). There is no moment of celebration, no one is drinking…they are actually driving! (A big no-no with alcohol). But we hardly notice, entranced in the story. It looks like they rode down from California on Kerouac-esque guys trip and decided to start a tequila company. Meanwhile,if we stop to rationalize, of course we know this is all very staged. In 2017, the brand was sold to Diageo for $1B. I would argue a lot of that success is thanks to this image. #Brands provide powerful subconscious signals to consumers & customers. In 2024, let’s bravely cultivate #brand vibes; let’s strive to show, rather than tell. #branding #creativity #brandidentity

Develop Innovative & Engaging Corporate PR Initiatives and Events | Lead Philanthropy and External Sponsorships for Bacardi Bermuda | Project Manage Production Efforts Related to the Bacardi Limited Annual Report and AGM
Insights from the Bacardi 1862 Holiday Pop-Up. Here's What I Learned Reflecting on the recent Bacardi 1862 Holiday Pop-Up in Bermuda as 2024 nears, I'm filled with gratitude. This endeavor, embodied Bacardi's values of Family, Fearless, and Founders and went beyond just achieving goals. It was about crafting memorable connections with our consumers. Visitors to our Front Street space experienced our team's synergy, stepping outside their comfort zones and gaining new perspectives on our brands. The experience reinforced my belief in the power of collaboration and diversity. Bermuda's potential is vast, but often, fear of failure restricts innovation. To counter this, I'm sharing key insights and actions we avoided: Key Lessons Learned: Value Reputation and Networks: Effective promotion was just the start; the real challenge was to convert interest into bookings. Our success in attracting and engaging 800 visitors was largely due to our solid reputation and strong connections. Embrace Team Support: Having a supportive manager and/or team can significantly boost your ability to take risks and innovate. Thanks to the support of Douglas Mello, we were able to move forward with confidence and given the space to test and learn. Acknowledge Collective Wisdom: No idea is entirely correct, and no opinion is exhaustive. Thanks for the input from teammates like Vernon Pemberton Craig Smith and Laura Nunez Macmillan who were ready to shoot for the stars and quick to pivot when necessary. Focus on Solutions: Focus on solutions and let go of problem-centric thinking. Many things popped up that we did not anticipate and instead of dwelling on the problems, we quickly pivoted to move forward. Seek Impact Over Perfection: Creating memorable experiences was more important than flawless execution. A wise woman (Krystina Robinson) once told me that people remember how you make them feel over anything else. Understand Your Audience: It's impossible to cater to everyone. Stay aligned with your target demographic; 80% of your success is often driven by 20% of your customers, stay focused on delivering value to this group and you will be successful. Don’t Let your Ego Get the Best of You: Challenges are growth catalysts when approached with humility. Create Meaningful Moments: Connecting with our guests and facilitating shared experiences that allowed people to connect with each other turned consumers into advocates. Throughout this venture, our aim was always to connect deeply with our consumers, and this experience has provided so many profound lessons that I plan to carry forward into many future projects. If you joined us at the Pop Up or have recently tried something new, I'd love to hear about your experiences and insights. What lessons have you learned from your ventures and what will you do next? As for us…stay tuned…more cool things to come 😊 Follow us @thebacardiguy on Instagram to stay updated. #Bermuda #MakeMomentsMatter #BacardiLife
