I run my own scoreboard. Here’s why it’s a complete life-changer: Most of us spend our lives wanting to measure up to someone else's idea of success. So we want: The next promotion. The bigger house, The faster car, It’s not always a better fit, just different. Yet we glorify it. Because we're taught the traditional path leads to success. But what does “success” mean to you? It’s crucial to measure that against your own scoreboard. Decide based on what matters to you. Not on assumptions about others’ lives. Just like Oscar Wilde says: “When you assume, you make an ass out of you and me.” I apply this philosophy to my life. I could: Build a different company, Manage bigger teams, Raise more capital. But what’s important to me right now? Not those things. That’s why we need to keep our priorities clear. Measure ONLY against your own scoreboards. Otherwise, you’ll end up like everyone else: Working a job you hate… To buy things you don’t need… To impress people you don’t like… Remember: Life isn't about outpacing others; It's about achieving what truly matters to you.
