I am in Merida, Mexico, this week for the Foro Latinoamericano de Inversión de Impacto - FLII - and I just had the pleasure to deliver a workshop and present the project Fintech for Health for Latin America (Mexico, Colombia, Chile and Brazil) that I worked on from ACCESS Health International and Fundación Metlife in the Purpose-Driven Technology space. Fintech for Health lives in the intersection between financial inclusion and universal health systems and is a solution that can help Latin America to increase access to health for the poor population with diverse and affordable financing options. It creates a complementary ecosystem with the current national health systems, using technology and digital economy as gears, maximizing health delivery for those who need the most. This project is gathering evidence and delivering a proof of concept of how this could work in the region. It is great to connect with many innovative companies and impact investors that are focused on improving our living conditions and the world. Big thanks to Gabriela Maretto Figueiredo and Arly Belas, the amazing research team, who with me led the analysis for Brazil. #impactinvesting #acesstohealth #sustainabledevelopment

I am so thankful for having the chance to collaborate and work with you in this project. You are an outstanding professional! It’s impressive how quickly you picked such a complex topic and systematically turned it into a clear and achievable milestone. Very few have such talent. Building fintech solutions that expand quality healthcare access for those who need the most is an immense challenge. You’ve made it look easy.

Muito bom saber de você Silvio!
