Dr Simon Kos’ Post

I am really looking forward to #HIC2024 this year, Aug 5-7th in Brisbane. Microsoft CMO David Rhew, M.D. will keynote, and I’ll be moderating or sitting on various panels. I’m working hard on a new demonstration that explores the lesser known features of MS Teams as an essential clinical second screen. Looking forward to seeing you all there!

Less than 10 per cent of the potential capability of Microsoft Teams is being utilised, despite the application being officially recognised as a clinical-grade platform in Australia. That’s according to Microsoft health industry advisor Dr Simon Kos, who is speaking at next month’s Australasian Institute of Digital Health (AIDH) #HIC2024 conference in Brisbane. #ehealth #healthit #digitalhealth #PulseIT #medicalscribing #AIforHealth

You raise an interesting point Dr Simon Kos and one we are actively working on at DPV Health. Technology and clinical teams are often so busy chasing the latest new technology to assist them, that they don't maximise the value of what they already have. It would be much easier and faster to maximise what we already have then introduce new technology. I look forward to seeing your demonstration. Enjoy the event.
