The exhibition presents artwork exploring various themes, including identity and climate, using sculpture, collage, photography, drama, and creative make-up. All artwork was created in collaboration with various partners. Our Arthouse programme supports creative development and provides a space for individuals to share artistic ideas, gain knowledge, as well as build skills for employment. Tips for emerging artists on how to write an exhibition history: 1. For each exhibition, include its full title, the gallery's name and location, and the year it took place. 2. Organise your exhibitions chronologically, starting with the most recent. 3. Separate solo and group exhibitions into different lists. 4. Include a section for ‘Upcoming’ or ‘Scheduled’ exhibitions, if you have any. 5. Add any creative projects/collaborations/commissions. 6. Research has shown art affects the fundamental sense of self. Painting, sculpture, literature and the other arts are often considered to be the repository of a society’s collective memory. Art preserves what fact-based historical records cannot: how it felt to exist in a particular place at a particular time. Art in this sense is communication; it allows people from different cultures and different times to communicate with each other via images, sounds and stories. Art is often a vehicle for social change. It can give voice to the politically or socially disenfranchised.
