New hope for people struggling with obesity from our Virta Health team. We always try to lead with evidence (peer-reviewed if possible) and can now share two updates with our Sustainable Weight Loss offering: 1. We've shown a credible off-ramp from GLP-1's eg Ozempic nutritionally sustaining -10%+ weight loss and glycemic control for year+ after GLP-1's. It's possible and it works at scale. This was thought to be impossible. 2. Our Virta Health providers now have nearly 10 years of experience safely managing (prescribing, de-prescribing, individualizing) GLP-1's using tele-medicine, which we are now making available to all our clients who are looking for a "responsible prescriber" to help with obesity with or without GLP-1's.
