While working at the NRF show last week, the OptConnect team helped two exhibitors connect their equipment to the internet, putting an end to their downtime. One had a DIY cellular solution that works in theory, but couldn't get connected when there was a low signal strength. The neo2 was an immediate solution to their problem, because it was designed for unattended locations with problems connecting. Another new customer assumed they could rely on exhibit provided wi-fi to connect their device and learned that the speed provided was not strong enough for real time transaction processing. Now I’m ready for the AHR Expo! Well, not 100% ready, but I got the shoes taken care of. Is anyone else getting geared up for the big show? Based on my experience, here are a few tips that come to mind for a successful AHR experience: 1) Wear comfortable shoes. 2) Plan to build new relationships. 3) Plan to strengthen existing relationships. 4) If you’re taking a lot of video, bring your phone charger and/or a portable charger to the show floor. 5) Don’t become a legend for things you did when you can’t remember what you did because you drank too much.
