Customer Support agents need to be more resilient than you might expect! A peice for my support peeps, keeping the world sane, one ticket at time! The absolute BS agents have to deal with is and will always be a reason to call them heroes! As a customer support representative, you encounter a myriad of challenges: Frustrated customers who have been charged for months without notice. Callers claiming a recent feature malfunctioned, expecting immediate soluitons, even though you just found out! And a bag of micro-management to top it off! Yeah, performance tracking is essential, but there exists a fine line between constructive oversight and mind-numbing control. All of this and the agent can say only one thing:  "It’s not me, it’s the business they’re angry at!" Mastering the ability to maintain composure while facing all this is your greatest strength. Remember the principles of active listening, problem resolution, empathy, and assistance. These lessons hold profound significance for anyone, shaping the essence of a true support agent. Recognize your inherent value and refuse to accept that anything is beyond your abilities. You're more resilient than you know!

This usually happens when a product or service is in high demand or has an intermittent interruption or downtime. Customer Support may be performing tasks like answering phone calls ☎, reacting quickly to the company's social media accounts, chatbot, emails 📧, etc during these times. This can be overwhelming for customer support Agents, and issues can arise with customers. At this peak time, support agents can adopt these strategies; 1. Keep calm 2. Listen attentively to customers. 3. Probe if there is a need for clarification. 4. Prioritize and attend to one customer issue at a time. 5. Communicate the correct information. 6. Collect feedback from customers and act on them. 7. Escalate complex issues to functional departments. 8. Keep your word by getting back to the customer. 9.
