We will provide you with a topical numbing cream approximately 30 minutes prior to your treatment to assure you’re as comfortable as possible. Majority of patients report little to no “pain” during the treatment, however, please always keep in mind everyone is unique in the way they experience sensations. Can I wear makeup after? Since patient downtime is minimal, makeup can be applied 1 to 3 days after the treatment. Patients should expect to see micro lesions a few days after treatment and slight redness for up to 1 week, if any, depending on treatment parameters & the patient’s own individual skin tolerance or sensitivity. It is strongly suggested to keep the area/s treated clean until the skin has had enough time to “heal”. How long should I wait in between appointments? 4-6 weeks is the recommended time frame between treatments for optimal results. How quickly will I see results from RF Microneedling? Visible results can be seen within a few days, but typically after three weeks the most noticeable results appear. Improvements continue up to six months after treatment! You are wanting some facial filler. You want to look younger and fuller in face. You pick your facial filler. Any kind. The selection of your choice. Facial fillers help fill lines, creases, folds, create volume, remove shadows, create younger and fuller facial appearance. Your injector says: “we are going to add some diluting/saline (or other dilutant) to your filler product.” You say: “ok. WHAT ELSE SHOULD YOUR INJECTOR TELL YOU: Here is a list of 5 other things your injector should tell you when you dilute facial fillers: 1. Added slight risk of infection from adding dilutant. 2. Reduced elasticity called “G Prime” when fillers are diluted. Reduced G Prime reduces product longevity and holding/lifting power. 3. Reduced holding/lifting power above. 4. Reduced half life/duration above. 5. Your cost should only be for the filler, not the dilutant, so be sure the injector does not charge for a “whole” syringe of filler when they actually use “half” filler and “half saline.” Those are 5 things that an ethical and moral injector should tell you when you dilute facial fillers: Infection risk up G Prime down about 50% Hold power down 50% Duration down 50% Your cost should also be….down 50% to ensure they did not charge you for filler instead of saline. How does Botox work ? And what is it made of ? Botox works by temporarily paralysing muscles, which helps to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. It is made from a neurotoxin called Botulinum Toxin, the toxin is combined with protective proteins to stabilise the molecule and diluted in a saline solution before injection. When injected into specific muscles with a fine needle, Botox stops the release of Acetylcholine, which signals muscles to contract. Without this signal, the muscles relax. This relaxation smooths the skin, reducing the appearance of wrinkles caused by facial expressions. Botox is often used to reduce facial wrinkles, such as crow's feet, frown lines, and forehead lines. The effects of Botox typically last for 3 to 6 months, after which the muscle action gradually returns, and wrinkles may reappear, requiring repeat treatments to maintain the results.
