The New Way Women Connect: Pajama Parties! Forbes recently covered the event created by Stacy Berns and Nancy Berger called Powerdown2Powerup, where C Suite women were invited to get out of the city to relax and unwind at the brand new luxurious healthy getaway called The Ranch Hudson Valley. We found the setting in nature, coupled with the slumber party where everyone was dressed in organic cotton skin pajams, with robes and slippers, to be the perfect setting where women could just be themselves, so comfortable in their skin! The conversations were easy, and the guards were down. There were more collaborations formed and new friendships forged in this event than I have ever seen. I think we are on to something! More pj parties!! We just returned from Cannes, where we co-hosted the Cannes PJ Party. It’s amazing how much easier it is to mingle when you’re comfortable! This relaxed atmosphere took the stress out of introductions, transforming typically stuffy environments into spaces where genuine connections could flourish. It is simply our mission to dress women, so they can feel comfortable all hours of the day, while they go out in the world that requires us all to do uncomfortable things! Starting a business, running a business as CEO, managing a household, being a mother, and forging and mainiting all the relationships of our lives, is not easy.
