#FlashbackFriday: On March 22, 2000, in partnership with the Kanter Family Foundation, AHRQ released “Now You Have a Diagnosis: What's Next?” This resource helps patients identify and decide on treatment options after receiving a diagnosis. It encourages shared decision making, where patients work with their doctors to develop a treatment plan that considers their own personal preferences and goals. The guide seeks to improve healthcare decision making by providing patients with evidence-based information and teaching them how to understand and discuss treatment options with their physicians. https://bit.ly/3x6hdBe

It is so important that patients with #braintumors are empowered and supported to make decisions for their care that are right for them. And, it is also important that they know all of their treatment options including opportunities to enroll in a clinical trial. This is a great patient education piece published by the National Brain Tumor Society helping to provide clarity and address myths surrounding clinical trials. #MyTumorID #IDecide
In recognition of #ClinicalTrialsDay today, we invite you to read our new blog post that addresses commonly held misconceptions about #clinicaltrials. Check out our mythbusting guide for patients with #braintumors and care partners today: https://lnkd.in/gd_buKWe #MyTumorID
