There is always new business to be won. Won = Earned We won a large award this year of non-produce food and beverages from a long term customer of ours. We earned this award because we were one of their top performing produce carriers. We had been working hard for a couple of years to handle all of their challenging produce loads. They recognized the strengths of our teams, our dedication to their business and focus on a strong partnership, and rewarded our efforts with increased business. We now do over $10M of business with this client. Even when the market for new business is tough, you need to recognize that someone is always trying to take your place, and you can also be trying to take someone else’s. Last year, I took on a business goal to grow awareness of Front in the logistics and transportation industry. Instead of 3PLs and brokerages asking: "What is Front?" My mission was for them to start asking: "When is the right time for Front?" 500 LSPs were already using (and loving) the platform, but it still felt like the industry's "best kept secret" 🤫 Here are some of the strategies we deployed to make it the (not-so-secret) secret to 5-star customer service: ✅ Exhibiting at events and trade shows like FreightWaves and McLeod Software UC ✅ Becoming a member of the TIA (Transportation Intermediaries Association) and sponsoring their annual conference ✅ Developing partnerships with trusted businesses in the space like Highway, Tai Software, Levity, S2Q Systems, and many more! ✅ Building relationships with so many great folks in the industry who’ve helped spread the word ✅ Sharing our work on LinkedIn to extend the reach and make new connections I'm really proud of the progress we made over the last year, and I'm excited that we're seeing results. Britvic plc (LSE:BVIC) has announced a jump in revenue for the full year aided by an increase in the price of its drinks. Revenue increased by 6.6% to £1.75 billion in the year ended 30 September 2023, the soft drinks maker announced on Wednesday, prompting 5.9% growth in adjusted pre-tax earnings to £218.4 million. Adjusted margins fell by 0.1 percentage points to 12.5%, Britvic said, with the company also reporting a 2.2% decline in volume sales. However, #Britvic labelled the reductions as “modest” and hailed continuing demand for its range of soft drinks. “Through a combination of revenue growth management actions and cost discipline we have been able to mitigate the substantial cost inflation pressures,” chief executive Simon Litherland commented. “We have demonstrated that our portfolio of trusted brands has been able to take and hold significant price, with very limited volume impact.” More at #Proactive #ProactiveInvestors #LSE #BVIC http://ow.ly/4ZRz1053368
