I believe that addressing the significant gender disparity within engineering is critical to addressing AI concerns. Currently it will be 350 years to gender parity within engineering. To help address this, with my daughter Alissa Stavig MD we wrote at a book “Retaining Women in Engineering: The Empowerment of Lean Development”.
