Tonight let's celebrate teamwork. Particularly from our Team England, who came 6th out of 29 nations competing in the World SUP Championships 2023, in France. There were highs and desperate lows (life can be unfair), but despite this, they continued, supported one another and did us proud. Next year, Team England will need two junior racers (male and female) for the team. Do you know anyone <18 years who is a rising star paddler? The team are asking for contributions to the crowdfund account as they continue to try to raise £4,000 to support the team. Next stop, the Euro Championships, in Portugal in 2 weeks. This money is to go towards the race entry, £250 per race is the entry fee. We're lucky to have several paddlers that are good enough to enter more than one race type. We want to help them to compete! Your donation gets you entry into a money can't buy *raffle*, which includes coaching from top racers, to premium equipment. I know they'll appreciate anything anyone can donate from those that are able to. The competitors pay for their own flights, accommodation, etc., themselves. I'll put the link to the crowdfund webpage in the comments, in case you would like to support the team. I'll also share the link to the ISF webpage, where you'll be able to see highlight videos from the 7 days. As we Mo-ve into another week of Movember, we’ve hit the halfway mark, so let’s take a look at the progress for the 60 for 60 challenge. In case you missed it, we are walking, running and/or cycling 60km over November for the 60 men we lose to suicide every 60 minutes. Unlike growing a moustache, which is also underway, this is a chance for everyone to get involved, uniting facial-hair-fanatics and clean-shaven alike. So far, we have four members of team Stiltz who have already reached the 60km mark: Andy Downing, Lachie Faulkner, Teresa Lippitt and Craig McLean. For everyone who passes the big six-o Stiltz will donate £10, but that hasn’t stopped additional donations from coming in as members share their progress and encourage friends and family to chip in. To date, the UK team have raised £370 and the team in the USA have raised $335. Not bad for only a few weeks. Let’s see how much we can reach by the end! It’s been great to see participants continue after reaching 60km, with some creating their own objectives. Andy Downing, Senior Design Engineer, is hoping to reach 600km through cycling as well as achieve the original 60km walking. Now that’s dedication. ⏱ 15 days and counting until Prodactive’s Big Adventure 2024 in support of Scotty's Little Soldiers – which means time for another competition! 🏆   We’re now just 15 days out before Philip R. and I embark on our 2024 ‘Big Adventure’ on 8-9 June, which this year is running a lap of the Isle of Wight over 2 days. We've previously run the East Highland Way (82 miles) and the West Highland Way (100 miles – meant to be 96, but we accidentally added on 4 miles) in Scotland.   This year we’re supporting Scotty's Little Soldiers, a hugely impactful charity which supports children of UK servicemen and women who lost their lives while serving their country. In the past we have run ‘for the hell of it’, but in line with our mission to help unlock potential and our support for UK Armed Forces leavers through our Smartsheet programme, we wanted to highlight the work Scotty’s does. This incredible charity changes the lives of bereaved military children by supporting them and helping to unlock their potential. Just one fantastic example is that of Poppy Swinnerton, who is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu junior world champion aged 15, and dreams of becoming a UFC fighter. https://lnkd.in/eAcVWXq5    We’ve set up an event dashboard on our website, which is unsurprisingly driven from a Smartsheet dashboard, and here you can find out more about the challenge and Scotty’s Little Soldiers. And during the event we will be updating on our progress via our dashboard as we go.   🙌 So how can you get involved?    You’re more than welcome to join Phil and me and run as much or as little as you want – or you can donate to Scotty’s and / or enter our competition to win 10 hours of our professional services support by guessing most closely the total moving time it takes us to complete the route.
