✈️ Flew into London on a business class flight. At the gate, a man behind me in the queue asks me if I was in the right queue as "this is the business queue". 👩🏽⚕️I was in the right queue. So were the women of various ages & ethnicities flying in business class. I sat next to a woman in her late 20s flying for work. 👩🏽💻Women do business. Women fly business. We need to change the perception of women & wealth. Would that man have asked a man who looked like him if he was in the right queue? Probably not. #womeninbusiness #femaleinvestor #WomeninTech

You know those warnings of  ‘be careful of what you put on the  internet cause it’s there forever’? Well, I had one of those last week.  But in a good way. When I found an old interview from 10 years ago. Back when I was Strategic Lead of  Women in Security for ASIS Europe  (ASIS Int’l is the world’s largest  security network) Part of my job was to support the 24 chapters  with opening to women outside of the traditional  pools of military & police. As with today, it’s all about thinking ‘out of the box’ Getting answers to tough questions > Which barriers do women face? > What do women need to thrive in their  workplaces and networks? I’m not interested in ‘blame games’ but to get an honest understanding to make a plan for improving the  situation for women. For example, many women in  male dominated industries feel pressure  to act like “one of the boys” but this  compounds their “imposter syndrome”. Trying to be “one of the boys” is like wearing the wrong shoes And then being told it’s your fault you can’t run as fast The definition of a woman isn’t NOT being a man.  When we start with the wrong definition,  We get the wrong answers We become imposters Women deserve to be seen, heard & noticed for our capabilities And accepted for who we are PS: Happy International Women's day You are amazing, just as you are! ❤️ #lifecoachforwomen #internationalwomensday2024 #womeninleadership #womeninsecurity #confidencecoach #womensupportingwomen
