Professor Janet Treasure, renowned for her research in eating disorders, began her career with groundbreaking studies on twins in the 1980s. This research challenged prevailing psychological theories by revealing genetic connections to anorexia. Today, her work continues to advance holistic approaches that integrate psychological and physiological aspects for more effective treatment strategies.
