Each quarter, we donate a percentage of client revenue to global reforestation efforts under our One-for-One Pledge (https://lnkd.in/eW8ktgGm). In partnership with One Tree Planted, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we’re excited to announce that our contributions helped plant 3,475 trees around the world! Specifically, trees were planted in the following critical areas: 🌲 550 new trees were planted in California to aid recovery from wildfire damage. 🌳 500 trees were planted in the Amazon Rainforest to help preserve the habitat of its unique wildlife. 🌴 625 trees were planted in U.S. National Forests to enhance their beauty and biodiversity. 🌲 600 mangroves were planted along various to coastlines and beaches. 🌳 650 trees were planted in areas hit by devasting forest fires. 🌴 550 trees were strategically planted in specific areas in dire need of protection. With each case, we not only strive to provide legal excellence, but we also aim to do our part in protecting the environment for future generations. #Sustainability #OneTreePlanted #JDHowletteLaw #JustlyPrudent

Cofounder/CEO at Grant Master | Winning grant funding and teaching with simplicity are my superpowers.
For those of us fighting the good fight for Mother Earth, passion is our greatest asset. Pour that into your proposal. Paint a vivid picture of the problem – deforestation, pollution, wildlife extinction – but also provide a clear roadmap for mitigation. And a tip from the trenches: Collaborate. Partnerships with local communities, governments, or other NGOs can lend your proposal the weight it needs to get noticed. #GrantWritingSchool #GrantWriting #FundraisingTips #NonprofitFunding #Grants #Philanthropy

Giving Tuesday is Today! This is the most important day of digital giving all year, with a record $3.2 billion raised in 2022! It's also a critical day for the Alliance for the Great Lakes, as our biggest digital fundraiser of the year. As someone who is both engaged and charitable, I know you have several causes you support. But if you, or your family live in the Midwest, please consider supporting the Alliance for the Great Lakes. Why? - We're protecting our waters. If you're one of 40 million who live on or near the Lakes...it's where your water comes from. - We're protecting our wildlife. The Great Lakes are 20% of the WORLD's fresh water. The health and well-being of our lakes also support the lives of billions of plants and animals. - We're safeguarding health and wellbeing. The Alliance is leading the charge to mandate statewide replacement of lead service lines, better regulate plastics and prevent them from entering our lakes, and decrease the amount of agricultural runoff. - We're planning for our region’s future. The Great Lakes are one of the world's most climate-resilient regions, and protecting the lakes now improves the odds that our beautiful, fragile treasure will be there for the next generation. Please invest in the future of our lakes. https://lnkd.in/gRSUnKeY

Celebrating this beautiful, mysterious, and wonderful planet this Earth Day! As the only registered forester on staff, and likely the only registered forester in all of mid-rev cycle, I will take any chance I can to talk about plants! The first value, the original value, and the lifeblood of Norwood is “Deep Roots, Strong Connections”. A forest ecosystem is importantly linked to microbiota, fungi, and other biotic and abiotic factors beneath the soil. Much of the time, sick looking leaves are actually indicators of invisible root problems beneath the soil. In the mid-revenue cycle, there are similar indicators that can stay hidden until they adversely influence revenue and, more importantly, quality of patient care. Our team is capable of doing full-revenue cycle assessments, provider education, managed services, and much more. Connect with me, mid-revenue’s only registered forester, and I’ll show you how strong roots and deep connections are the lifeblood of the Norwood difference and how Norwood can deliver health to your hospital’s bottom line.
We're thrilled to announce our partnership with One Tree Planted as part of our commitment to environmental sustainability! This Earth Day, Norwood donated a tree for each one of our consultants and employees, contributing to the global effort of reforestation. At Norwood, we believe in the power of nature and the importance of preserving our planet for future generations. That's why we're proud to support One Tree Planted, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to making it simple for anyone to help the environment by planting trees. Our donation not only helps replenish forests, but also aligns with one of our core values, "Unique Trees, One Forest." We recognize that every tree planted contributes to the greater good, creating a diverse and thriving ecosystem that benefits nature, people, and wildlife alike. By partnering with One Tree Planted, we're not only making a positive impact on the environment but also empowering local communities and environmental organizations worldwide. Together, we're creating a greener, healthier planet for all. Learn more about One Tree Planted and join us in our mission to protect and preserve our precious natural resources at onetreeplanted.org. Now, we want to hear from you! What actions are you taking to celebrate Earth Day and contribute to a more sustainable future? Share your thoughts in the comments below! 🌍 #Norwood #OneTreePlanted #EarthDay

Day 3 @NORA5 brought thrilling insights as Nik Sachlikidis shared our vision for saving oyster reefs through a science-meets-impact-investor-based approach to commercial restorative aquaculture. His talk was met with resounding success as part of the "Stakeholder Involvement" session. In his talk, Nik dived deep into the problems and processes of reintroducing and restoring native oysters. The first major hurdle for the Oyster Restoration Company was Bonamia screening, ensuring disease-free broodstock and quick deployment of targeted capital resolved this bottleneck. Following significant scale-up in 2022, we are now on track to produce over 100M oyster per year from 2024. Our focus is now on the deployment of these oysters to accelerate our restorative mission and we are actively seeking partnerships with mission-aligned groups. Nik said: "We are excited to announce at NORA5 that we will be supporting mission-aligned partners by donating out spat in 2024. By supporting community restoration projects, we aim to leave a lasting impact on native oyster populations." Check out BBC StoryWorks’ film about Urchinomics’ collaboration with Purina Europe to restore kelp forests in Norway!
Supporting native oyster restoration in the #UK and #europe with oyster spat! To all our #oysterreef and ecosystem #restoration friends, I would like to share this post from my friend Dr Nik Sachlikidis about The Oyster Restoration Company’s initiative to amplify #native European oyster reef restoration initiatives. In short, to accelerate #learning and ultimately scalable restoration, The Oyster Restoration Company is looking to collaborate with oyster restoration initiatives in the UK and Europe. The Oyster Restoration Company is offering to contribute their oyster spat for the 2024 season, to mission aligned partners who wish to both advance the science, best practices, and scale their oyster restoration efforts. Native European Flat Oysters are a keystone and foundational species, providing various ecosystem services that support life in our oceans. However, due to overfishing, climate change and pollution, over 95% of native oysters in Europe have been wiped out, and we (again) have pushed this species to the brink of extinction. Bringing the native species back and rebuilding oyster reefs is as imperative as restoring kelp forests, sea grass meadows and mangrove forests! For those interested to learn more about this initiative, please reach out to the contact information at the bottom of the link. #restorativeseafood #restorativeaquaculture #oceans #ecosystemservices #mission #oysters #partnerships #bluecarbon #biodiversity #filter
