The 5 Lagrange points, and who controls them, surprise surprise US has 2, PRC has 1 maybe 2 and the rest are likely up for grabs. I mean if another country took it away from us who is out there to stop them? No spacecops out there #IYKYK Where will the unique challenges of the combined gravitational forces of the Earth and the Moon take us? To new questions is where: what space actions constitute acts of terrestrial war, is this a act of war? Legal framework Real questions U.S. cant begin to tackle without u.s #spacelaw and international #spacelaw framework , not non-binding platitudes. Gravity waves and conservation of propulsion energy, and the importance of Lunar orbit and #Artemis Gateway station thanks to the EU. These topics america is waking up to but as space planners we have worried about over last half decade

Space tends to grip the public imagination, but these forays are not driven by vanity. China, like the U.S., like Europe and like the other main players on the world stage, understands that Space is now one of the key arenas in a potential conflict, and a key driver of innovation across the board. And while the U.S. remains the preeminent space and military power, China’s rapid advancements are narrowing the gap.

U.S. Space Forces – Space, the new Space Force Component Command of U.S. Space Command, has been formally stood up. U.S. Space Forces- Space, or S4S, will serve as the Space Force component of SPACECOM, taking the place of Space Operations Command , which had been pulling double duty as the Space Force component and also its regular responsibilities.
