I'll say this about Peep Laja. He understands the following. Almost all companies, regardless of industry, are all commoditized. They all sell the same thing. That's why he focuses on the emotional and social needs that companies strive to fulfill. AKA storytelling. You must tell the story right and connect emotionally and socially with your customers. How else can you sell something that 10 other companies are selling but in a different color scheme? I've always been a fan of CXL and it looks like his other biz is a reflection of how to tell the story right. Everything is about messaging. (You still need a solid product that fulfills functional requirements obv) The longer I spend in this game, the more I realize, that it's all about how you tell your story duh! And if you can't tell your story in a way that customers understand. It's over, pack up because they will flock to your competitor.
