Will Bowling and Billiards become Olympic Sports? #Bowling and #Billiards are two sports that were born in the entertainment industry. In most people’s minds they are games or activities and for millions of people around the world, they are sports! Sports that are recognized by the International Olympic Committee – IOC, participating in The World Games and they are a part of ARISF and SportAccord. Sports that are striving to become Olympic Sports in the near future. (Let’s go!) Whether you prefer them as sports, games, activities or even toys you buy for your house, you definitely cannot ignore all the hard work that is been done by the International Bowling Federation and the WCBS - World Confederation of Billiards Sports. It takes years of planning and organizing and communicating and bringing the right team on board in order to bring the sports to their current status and they definitely deserve recognition for that. The Olympic Games are considered the world's foremost sports competition with more than 200 teams, representing sovereign states and territories participating; by default the Games generally substitute for any World Championships the year in which they take place (however, each class usually maintains their own records).The Olympic Games are normally held every four years, and since 1994, have alternated between the Summer and Winter Olympics every two years during the four-year period.

Fosbury Flop.... 1968 Olympics. Revolutionized the way of high jumper approached the event by arching their back. Nowadays, every high jumper athlete will perform using this method. But not prior 1968 Olympics. We can learn few things from this amazing story. First, this is an example how improvement in best practices can elevate the performance. Second, continous improvement is essential towards improving the best practices. Third, always challenge the conventional norm including the current best practices. Don't take all of the best practices and maintain the status quo. There are always room for improvement.
