Best-selling author, financial educator, wife of a U.S. Army & Navy veteran, mother of two young men
Had an amazing time reconnecting with Tom McManus, an original Jacksonville Jaguars player, on his talk show today. As a former sports writer for the local daily newspaper, I covered the Jaguars in the late 1990s and early 2000s. During the interview, I shared my passion for teaching financial literacy. If you're interested in having me teach a How Money Works class for your group or organization, check out the brief interview and let me know! #mzmoneyworks #jaguars #jacksonville #financialliteracy #financialeducation

Co-founder of Tech Support AZ | Building software to bridge the knowledge gap between seniors and tech
Facebook is soooo 2021... It's no secret that older adults have migrated online – it's become a universal truth, almost a family joke even! With 50% of seniors aged 65+ and a whopping 75% of those between 55-64 embracing Facebook, it's clear they're not shying away from the digital world. However, there's a hidden gem in the digital landscape that's often overlooked – YouTube. Surprisingly, YouTube is witnessing a surge among older demographics, marking them as the fastest-growing group on the platform. Why the sudden affinity? Well, it might just be attributed to the luxury of leisure time that comes with later years, combined with an need to learn and avoid complacency. As longevity becomes the norm, there's a newfound zeal among older adults to live life to its fullest. They're diving into realms they didn't explore earlier, driven by the desire to learn things they might not have had time for in their youth. Here are some interesting, but still normal YouTube searchs that we heard from our clients: -Kayaking -Woodworking -Knitting -Crocheting -Birdwatching -Art -Restoring Cars However, in additional to regular topics, we have also heard our fair share of more interesting topics: -Axe Throwing -Hair dying -Options Trading -Axe Throwing -Hacking -AI models -Dating The shift in interests isn't just about the conventional; it's a journey into uncharted territories, a testament to the boundless curiosity and zest for life among older adults. YouTube isn't merely a video-sharing platform anymore; it's a gateway to discovery, a realm where lifelong learners find a community, explore passions, and venture into the unexpected. As the digital landscape evolves, so do the horizons of exploration for those ready to embrace every moment. 🌟🔍 #YouTubeForAllAges #LifelongLearning #seniorcare #seniorliving Jonah West Zach Davison Huy Huynh
